Angela Shelton

Angela Shelton

Angela is the Founder and Executive Director of Connection Point Biblical Counseling and Training Center in Covington, Georgia. She is passionate about seeing the Spirit of God apply the Word of God to the struggles and suffering of others. Angela graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Psychology and received her Master of Arts in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. She is in the final stages of completing a Ph.D. in Biblical Counseling and Practical Theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  

Angela is married to Brad, and their ten children and two grandchildren are their delight. Angela’s desire is to come alongside individuals and families to provide Gospel-centered care for the various struggles we face in a fallen world. She has a particular interest in helping adult survivors of sexual abuse by viewing their experiences from a biblical vantage point. Angela is also passionate about equipping other believers to speak the truth in love through the practice of biblical counseling. She is a certified trainer and supervisor with the Association of Biblical Counselors, and she continues to develop new courses for biblical counselors through Connection Point’s curriculum.
